Tea and coffee may be consumed, and it is advised that these be used in place of the first meal of the day. PHASE 3: REINTRODUCTION

During this final 3 or 6 week phase, those on the HCG diet will be allowed to slowly reintroduce foods that were previously forbidden. You will want to do this slowly and still avoid consuming sugar, starches and junk food. However, in phase three there will no longer be caloric restrictions.
